Customisable receipts

Merchants needed to tailor their receipts for branding, compliance, or customer preference, but the process was cumbersome and frequently led to support tickets.
Goal: Enable merchants to independently customise receipts, reducing friction, support load, and increasing merchant satisfaction.
Design Process
Low- and Mid-Fidelity Exploration
Developed wireframes showing step-by-step editing flows for merchant receipts.
Tested several UI patterns (inline editors, modular fields, preview toggles) to find the most intuitive layout.
UX Validation & Collaboration
Conducted user validation sessions to refine language, button placement, and default templates.
Involved developers early to anticipate technical feasibility and constraints.
Outcomes & Impact
50% reduction in support cases related to receipt customisation within the first month after launching the MVP borislavdimitrov.com.
Elevated merchant satisfaction, feedback indicated clarity and control were highly appreciated.
Improved developer and designer workflow via the refined Figma library boosting consistency and reducing design handoff friction.
